Fun stuff – Dilworth Park & Juneteenth

Summer 2021

Dilworth Park, that building in the background is the Philadelphia City Hall. These water jets are useless for big’uns like me, but the little kids have a lot of fun with them.

Water jets are off to the right of this picture. Just sort of a sitting / reading / talking area.

City employee as a good fairy with giant bubble-producer.

An ice-skating rink in the winter, it becomes a roller-skating rink in the summer.

Shopping stalls and food stands.

Concert at the Juneteenth celebration.
Videos.

Pedestrians take over the street for two blocks.

Goats for the young’uns to see.

.More shopping stalls. They had a beer garden nearby for us older folks.

A local politician spoke after a poet read out a series of poems.
