Rally outside Senator McCormick’s office

12Jan2026

Leaders of Denmark and Greenland meet with officials from the Trump Administration to try and dissuade them from adding Greenland to US territory. They were unsuccessful and Trump is as determined as ever to conquer Greenland. How did this begin? The blogger relays that Trump’s determination began as a Russian influence operation that used Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR). Cotton received a forged letter in 2019, it was apparently from Denmark, suggesting that Trump purchase Greenland. Trump thought that was a great idea and has pursued it ever since.

Would Trump have a financial incentive to want to take over Greenland? Yes, actually. He would like to “extract the rare earth minerals found in every modern smartphone.” Problem is that if the US were to acquire Greenland, it would take many years to locate and mine those minerals. It would not be a quick or simple task. There’s no reason the island has to be taken quickly; there’s actually no reason not to just engage in a joint venture with the people who live there.

So how has Europe responded? With massive protests. People in the US are accused of seeing Trump through rose-colored glasses, as a 12-year-old boy being permitted to drive a Monster Truck. Trump is having an absolutely grand old time with it, but he’s causing an absolutely enormous amount of damage!

Also, as Trump hysterically relates on his social media platform,

Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland have journeyed to Greenland, for purposes unknown. This is a very dangerous situation for the Safety, Security, and Survival of our Planet.

Obviously, those countries have gone there to act as a tripwire. If the US invades Greenland, that will begin a war between the US and Europe. The hope is, of course, that Trump will change his mind and will forget this mad notion. 58% of Americans oppose the option of the US even buying Greenland! Only 9% agree with Trump that the US should take the island by force. Even 68% of Republicans oppose that idea.

During his successful campaign for the presidency in August 2024, Trump promised “When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on day one.”  (He also promised to stop the war in Ukraine “in 24 hours”). In January 2025, the inflation rate was 3.0%. In December 2025, the inflation rate was 2.7%. Food costs 18.6% more than it did in January, A pound of boneless Sirloin steak cost $10.83 in January. In December, that same pound cost $14.03.

CBS News is now a propaganda organ for Trump’s White House. The first real sign of this after it gained Bari Weiss as its new Editor-in-Chief was in how it treated a thoroughly-vetted report from 60 Minutes after it was seen as critical of the Trump Administration. Weiss didn’t have to be told to deep-six the report, she knew full well that she owed her job to Trump and rejected the report on he own initiative.

Lately, CBS News suggested that the ICE agnet who murdered Renee Good had suffered from “internal bleeding.” CBS staffers were concerned about that:

According to internal emails seen by Barr, editorial doubts were raised before publication with some journalists questioning not only the thinness of the sourcing but the political implications of amplifying the unverified medical claim, given the incendiary nature of the incident.

A round-up of other concerns that CBS has become the propaganda arm of the Trump Administration.

Israelis have, over the past year, been making a highly aggressive push to wipe West Bank Palestinian villages off the map and to replace them with Israeli settlements.

The report also indicated that in 2025, 35,273 trees were destroyed and poisoned, including 26,988 olive trees in the areas of Salfit, Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Hebron. This was coupled with a wave of demolitions by the Israeli army…

Also, Israel is trying to throttle both  aid and solidarity going from the outside world to Gaza.

The consequences of Israeli restrictions on humanitarian aid and the organizations that provide it are deadly and devastating. Palestinians in Gaza continue to die from cold, hunger, and preventable illness while Israel blocks trucks full of food, shelters, and medical supplies from reaching them.

Moscow cheerfully agrees with Trump’s assessment that it’s Ukraine that’s at fault for not agreeing with Trump’s “peace” proposals. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk:

“It is Russia who rejected the peace plan prepared by the U.S.,” not Zelenskyy, Tusk posted on X on Thursday. “The only Russian response (was) further missile attacks on Ukrainian cities. This is why the only solution is to strengthen pressure on Russia. And you all know it.”

At the beginning of this blog post, the blogger shows that for Trump to effectively take Putin’s side is a pretty regular thing that keeps happening over and over.
